Nestled in the beautiful Huon Valley this practice is just 30 minutes from Hobart.  The Huon Doctors Surgery has recently been refurbished and we are looking forward to providing a greater service and level of comfort to our patients and an excellent working environment for our doctors. To compliment this growth we wish to employ an additional full time General Practitioner to meet the demands of our growing patient numbers.

The refurbished of the practice has resulted in an improved and larger surgery, an additional consultation room and a second larger treatment room.  As part of the expanions space was also made available for Hobart Pathology and we offer a full time Nurse who provides enhanced primary care services on behalf of the practice and the four GP;s.

Our friendly and welcoming staff are seeking a full time GP to join our team of 4 GPs, practice nurses and receptionists. Huonville provides the opportunity of living in the country and working in a rural practice with the rewards of rural medicine, and being in commuting distance of Hobart.

The practice has visiting rights to the Eldercare aged care facility and our GPs  work with local industry to provide occupational health services. 

The centre provides EPC care plans and health assessments consistent with our commitment to preventative health.

The practice participates in an after hours roster with two other practices in the Huon area. This reusults in GP's having a comfortable 1 in 9 after hours roster and we also use GP Assist as our deputising service.  GP Assist is a medical triaging service that results in call-outs being kept  to a minimum.
