Locum opportunities In Tasmania

If you are looking for a change of scenery Tasmania has a range of locum opportunities in seaside hamlets, rural townships, and larger provincial centres. GP Workforce Tasmania regularly gets requests from GP practices seeking short-term and long-term locums. Short-term locums will need to be eligible for unconditional registration with the Medical Council of Tasmania.

Please find below a list of requests for locum cover in Tasmania for 2009 and early 2010. Please give us a ring or contact us by email if you are able to assist for even part of the time period at any of the following locations.


Please find below an updated list  of requests for locum cover in Tasmania for 2009/2010. 


 

Would you conisder working a locum placement in beautiful Tasmania. 
December locums urgently required. 
1.       NEW amended dates Locum required at Smithton Doctors Surgery from 02 – 20 December 2009 and 13-18 July 2010.  This is a group practice in the far North-West of the State.  After hours, VMO and on call required.  Travel, accommodation and vehicle supplied.  Either agency or private locums.
 
2.        Amended dates Locum required for Launceston urban practice at Kings Meadows (Family Doctors Service) from 14 December 2009 to 04 January 2010.  Is seeking either local or mainland locum.  No after hours.
3.        NEW Locum required for George Town group practice from 18 Jan to 29 Jan 2010.  This practice is located in the north of the state, after hours and VMO on call required.  Travel, accommodation and a vehicle supplied.
4.        Locum required for Rosebery General Practice (Gemini Practice) on the West Coast of Tasmania from 30th December to 05 January 2010.  After hours and on call required.  Travel, accommodation and a vehicle supplied.
